7. Objectives:
The main objective of this work is to create the amended up-to-date version of the interdisciplinary environmental multipurpose Black Sea database as a tool and a source of information for the regional decision makers, scientists, NGOs, and students. Due to the drastically extended volume of the loaded data, the database will provide new possibilities for scientific analysis and will help to improve the ecological situation in the region, to try to forecast hazardous algae blooms, and to predict the oil spills movement in case of the incidents.
