7. Objectives : There are two main objectives of the proposed study:
- To developed a versatile software program for the analysis of species level
phytoplankton data of the Black Sea. This program could be used by any scientist working on the Black Sea phytoplankton.
- To study the seasonal and long-term variations in the biodiversity and quantity of phytoplankton in different regions of the Black Sea, taking into account the influence of both natural conditions and anthropogenic impact.
